What we would check first
- Match model, capacity, generation and quantity.
- Read the price retrieval date and snapshot basis.
- Check seller, shipping and availability at checkout.
- Keep unknown prices separate from zero-dollar offers.
How we would choose
The catalog sorts known model-family observations lower to higher, then places unknown prices last. A small bowl, a larger bowl and a two-pack may all have different useful totals. We would compare like-for-like versions before calling a price difference a saving. An inexpensive item becomes poor value if the dog cannot access the food or the care routine prevents regular use.
Products to compare
These are use-relevant starting points from published evidence. They are not hands-on winners or a fit approval.
Prices are dated source observations, retrieved 2026-10-26. Cached pages may be older. Known model-family prices appear lowest first; unknowns follow. Capacities, generations, quantities and sellers can differ. Confirm the exact item, availability, shipping and tax at checkout.
IRIS Slow Feeder Short Snouted
We would inspect the IRIS short-snouted layout before a deep maze when easy access is the main concern. The product name makes it a useful comparison lead, followed by a close look at the actual ridge geometry.
What could make us pass: The source title and size table disagree about capacity. We would confirm the current SKU with the retailer rather than turn either number into a fit claim.
The title says 2 cups while a size table lists 3 and 5 cups. Confirm SKU, capacity and dimensions before purchase.

Frisco Square Silicone Dog Lick Mat
Frisco Square is a practical first lick mat for someone who wants several textures without a complicated feeder. We would value the top-rack cleaning instructions more than a decorative shape.
What could make us pass: Spread can remain in the texture after the dog finishes. Inspect and wash every section, and follow the instruction against microwaving.
Check the listed 8.8 by 6.3 inch footprint against the place you plan to use it. Do not microwave.

Nina Ottosson Dog Brick Level 2
Brick would be our starting comparison for an owner who wants to teach several simple actions within one board. Lids, sliding blocks and removable covers let the person simplify the first session.
What could make us pass: Loose covers add handling and storage work. We would choose a different format if the dog is inclined to grab and chew the pieces rather than search for food.
Confirm the exact generation and all included pieces. Keep the game supervised and put covers away after use.

Frisco Snuffle Mat Grey
The grey Frisco mat is a useful baseline for someone who wants simple shag-style foraging. The included suction cups could help when there is a compatible smooth floor.
What could make us pass: Anchoring is surface-dependent. We would not buy it for a dog whose main response to fabric is pulling, shaking or swallowing pieces.
Test the anchors on your actual floor and check how the mat should be washed before putting food into it.
