Why consider it
The Basic Harness in black is another Target starting point for a small dog needing straightforward walking gear. We would check whether the fit is actually better than the similarly named Basic Step In.
What could make us pass
The short name does not establish the same entry method as Basic Step In. Compare item numbers and chest ranges before combining their prices.
Fit and care
Check the actual neck and chest ranges, entry method, leash point and care instructions. Watch the dog walk and turn in a secure space to assess shifting and front-leg clearance. Size names are not standardized across brands.
