Why consider it
KONG Shock-Absorbing Hands-Free combines a waist-style option with some give in the lead. We would buy it only when both functions suit the walking routine, rather than because hands-free sounds universally easier.
What could make us pass
Keep it separate from KONG Hands-Free without the same stated shock-absorbing design. Check the complete fastening setup and retain a usable way to take hold of the lead.
Fit and handling
Check the complete intended configuration, body-loop range, usable dog-to-handler length and accessible hand-held control points. Confirm which pieces are supplied. A body-worn connection can transmit an unexpected pull directly to the handler; it still needs attention.
Check length, width, clip, intended dog limits and included handles. Coupler-only purchases need a compatible main lead; complete dual-leash systems may already include it. Check the handling instructions for retractable, slip, hands-free and long leads.
