Based on published listings, not hands-on testing.
Why consider it
Mighty Paw's cable lead is a material-specific alternative for an owner investigating leash chewing. We would inspect the coated cable and handle before treating a thicker-looking rope lead as the same solution.
What could make us pass
Chew Proof is the product's claim, not a Pawprint test result. Damage to a coating, cable or fitting calls for inspection and replacement, and chewing still deserves its own management plan.
Fit and handling
Check total weight, clip, joins and handle attachment. Inspect coatings and metal for damage and replace compromised equipment. Chew-resistant marketing is not a guarantee, and changing material does not replace supervision or an appropriate behavior plan.
Check length, width, clip, intended dog limits and included handles. Coupler-only purchases need a compatible main lead; complete dual-leash systems may already include it. Check the handling instructions for retractable, slip, hands-free and long leads.
