Keep it separate from Vibrant Life's ten-foot retractable. Reflective wording does not remove the handling limits of an extending tape.
Fit and handling
Match the model, tape-versus-cord construction, maximum length and selected dog rating. Read brake and lock instructions and inspect the line, attachment and mechanism before use. Keep the line clear of bodies and obstacles; choose an appropriate setting with attentive control.
Check length, width, clip, intended dog limits and included handles. Coupler-only purchases need a compatible main lead; complete dual-leash systems may already include it. Check the handling instructions for retractable, slip, hands-free and long leads.
