Contour should remain its own MidWest family
The Contour name is a reason to keep this record separate from the standard black, gold and no-door MidWest pens. Confirm the latch design, height and included clips on the selected package before comparing prices. We would choose it for a specific access or hardware preference rather than assuming the family name means universally better performance. Shape still determines the usable interior.
Original research assessment, not a hands-on test.
What to check before buying
- Usable interior and outside footprint in the chosen shape are not independently measured.
- Confirm the exact height, panel count, door opening, seller and included hardware before purchase.
Measure usable enclosed area separately from the outside footprint, projecting feet and door swing. See the measurement guide →
