A pen or a kennel: which space are you planning?

Describe the job

Write down whether the goal is a supervised room zone, a portable outdoor area or another specific use. A pen provides boundaries but does not automatically provide the functions of an enclosed kennel.

Measure each format separately

For a pen, record the chosen interior shape and outside footprint. For a kennel, inside usable dimensions and outside dimensions can also differ substantially. Never transfer a size label from one category to the other.

Be careful with combined layouts

Some photographs show a pen beside a kennel. Confirm any connection method in the relevant instructions and measure the combined footprint, including doors. A picture is not proof that two independently purchased products connect safely.

Read ambiguous titles closely
